Words that travelled an ocean.
Each letter is written in the voice of the family, faithful to the year it was sent. The letters are original historical fiction, researched from the records of the National Archives of Ireland, the National Library of Ireland, and local county histories. Real events, real dates, one family carrying you through them.
They are the work of one hand, Maebh Collins, a lover of genealogy and Irish history, who researches every letter and writes it herself.
